2019 has seen a somewhat steady growth in the shipments of electrical components, but June was a particularly great month for growth. According to the Illinois Business Daily, shipments of electrical components crossed the 1% growth mark, with a total dollar amount adding up to $11.8 billion in the month of June. The publication points out that the month of May before it saw a growth as well, only at half the amount of 0.5 percent. With technology advancing at an exponential trajectory with no foreseeable reason to stop we can only expect the number of shipments of electrical components and equipment to continue this path. One block in the road this year so far could be the tariffs on Chinese components and equipment coming into the United States, although with negotiations being so vague on that topic one can only speculate on the overall effect of such an installation.
